Hello Again:

As I age time seems to go by ever more quickly. I sometimes use a sig on my emails supposedly attributed to Andy Rooney which says, ?Life is like a roll of toilet paper; the closer to the end you get the faster it goes". But this month is just ridiculous.

It literally seems we just had our July meeting. But I'm looking forward to Wednesday and Dean explaining even more details of the new OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion. I'm also going toast him to explain imap mail and why since I changed from pop I keep downloading all the messages I deleted.

Thanks to the efforts of member Scott Mugan our domain name is now natmac.org, which reflects our status correctly as not a commercial enterprise. But I don't understand why the dot com address still appears after typing in the dot org address. Hope Scott can explain.

I have received a request for a demo/instructional segment on Bento. If someone is fluent with this application and would like to do it please let me know.

The door prizes this month will consist mostly of items not awarded last month, as follows:

Canon 14 MP digital camera
Linksys wireless N router
iHome speaker lamp for all MP3 players 50 pack of DVD disks
protective sleeve for an iPad

The usual rules will apply; each paid membership will receive one raffle ticket but additional tickets can be purchased at the cost of $1 or 6/$5. Only one prize per membership still applies.

Below are some articles of interest followed by the User Group Discounts and the photo of the month.

Hope to many of you at the meeting on Wednesday, Pete
